Transfer Pathway Programs

A variety of transfer pathways are available to students with interest in transferring to Georgia Tech. Dual Degree and REPP pathway programs are connected to Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering.

Transfer pathway programs marked with an asterisk (*) are only available to eligible students who previously applied to Georgia Tech as a first-year applicant.

Atlanta Public Schools (APS) Pathway Program

As part of Georgia Tech’s commitment to Atlanta Public Schools (APS), first-year APS applicants not offered first-year admission have the opportunity to apply as a transfer student within two years after their high school graduation date as part of the APS pathway program.

Arts & Sciences Pathway Program

*Arts & Sciences Pathway Program

First-year applicants not offered admission within the College of Design, Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, and College of Sciences may be given the opportunity to apply as a transfer student through the Arts and Sciences Pathway program.

Conditional Transfer Pathway Program

First-year applicants who are not offered admission and have a family member (grandparent, parent, sibling, or Tech employee) affiliated with Tech at the point of application may be given the opportunity to apply as a transfer student through the Conditional Transfer Pathway Program.

First-Generation Pathway Program

*First-Generation Pathway Program

First-year applicants not offered admission and have first-generation college student status have the opportunity to apply as a transfer student through the First-Generation Pathway Program. First-generation status includes applicants whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree.

As part of Georgia Tech's commitment to Strategic Plan and the American Talent Initiative, first-year applicants who are not offered admission may be given the opportunity to apply as a transfer student through the Talent Initiative Pathway Program.

This transfer pathway program is uniquely designed to assist military veterans who have completed active duty within the past five years.

Regent’s Engineering Pathway Program (REPP)

Regent’s Engineering Pathway Program (REPP)

REPP students attend a participating REPP institution for two years then attend Georgia Tech for two years within one of the College of Engineering’s undergraduate degree programs.  Upon completion of the engineering program, students receive a bachelor’s degree at Georgia Tech.

Dual Degree Engineering Pathway Program

Dual Degree Engineering Pathway Program

Dual Degree students attend a participating Dual Degree institution for three years then attend Georgia Tech for two years within one of the College of Engineering’s undergraduate degree programs. Upon completion of the engineering program, students receive a bachelor’s degree from their home institution, and a bachelor’s degree in their engineering program at Georgia Tech.
